SONGS OF LOVE: Diane Schuur

Diane Schuur joins the Charleston Jazz Orchestra as it kicks off its 11th season February 23 at Charleston Music Hall. A two-time GRAMMY Award Winner, Schuur’s voice is expressive, romantic and mischievous as it radiates warmth and soulful passion. Frank Sinatra invited her to sing with his band, conducted by Quincy Jones. She also performed alongside Herbie Hancock on the classic I Just Called to Say I Love You for Stevie Wonder at The Kennedy Center Honors. She will present her favorite songs of love, featuring the music of Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday and others.
